The MFT Sustainability Team plays a key role within the University Trust, providing information and resources on sustainability and the NHS’s efforts to achieve net zero to over 28,000 staff based in 10 different hospitals.

This is a huge endeavour and cut-through to this large workforce, when there are so many competing messages from across the NHS network, is incredibly difficult.

In order to inspire staff to engage with sustainability projects, encourage people to become Sustainability Champions, and help drive the workforce to get involved in small but effective changes, they required a more noticeable brand identity and a tagline that made them heard.

We developed a logo, strapline, key messaging and brand elements that sit within the NHS master brand guidelines but also identify the MFT Sustainability Team as a core team within the Manchester Trust. We created a series of exciting comms assets developed for use when trying to reach your wide audience group with key sustainability messages.
