Occupy Earth – Making the impossible feel inevitable.

Occupy Earth is a global, non-violent movement with an audacious ask: that the world’s leaders form a democratic World Federation with the power to end war, halt climate change and steer AI towards the good of everyone. Born from the subplot of a screenplay its founder decided was too important to leave as fiction, it came to us with no brand and no audience — and one very hard job: to make a movement for world government feel not just possible, but inevitable.

The challenge

Most people hear “world government” and think one of two things: that’s terrifying, or that’s impossible. The movement had no profile, no existing brand, and an idea so big it risked being dismissed before anyone engaged with it. The real obstacle wasn’t disagreement — polls show most people already want global action on war, climate and AI — it was the knee-jerk “great idea, it’ll never happen.” We needed a brand that met people’s fear and frustration head-on, then turned it into something rarer: hope, and a clear answer to “what can I actually do?”

The solution

We created Occupy Earth as a brand that belongs to the people, not an institution — human-centric and unmistakably protest-inspired. Bold, urgent typography carries the energy of a placard, paired with a serif for an editorial, underground-zine feel. Running through it all is a torn, ripped and collaged graphic language — tearing up the status quo to reveal the truth beneath, then piecing together something new. At its heart, a simple but iconic logo about collective care for people and planet, built to be reproduced anywhere from a screen to a stencilled wall. And a bright, unexpected palette keeps a brand about existential threats feeling hopeful and empowering rather than doom-laden.

The website carries that energy into a simple, intentional journey — The Moment, The Movement, The Fix — walking visitors from the scale of the crisis to a concrete way to act, with a cinematic hero film setting the tone from the first second: urgent, human, planetary.

The result

Occupy Earth now has a brand and platform that punch far above the weight of a brand-new movement — taking the most dismissable idea in modern politics and giving it the confidence and momentum of something already underway. Instead of “it’ll never happen,” the brand makes a quieter, harder-to-argue-with case: that change always looks impossible, right up until the moment it’s inevitable.
