SourceMaterial is a non-profit organisation dedicated to uncovering stories at the intersection of climate change, corruption, and democracy. They specialise in exposing underreported issues of public interest, always adhering to the highest standards of investigative journalism. Their strict editorial code ensures their partners in mainstream media can rely on their work for accuracy, fairness, and a steadfast commitment to ethical reporting.

As a small but fearless team of investigative journalists, SourceMaterial tackles complex and challenging stories. They focus on revealing the hidden forces shaping politics, society, and the environment—stories with far-reaching implications for everyone.

The Challenge
SourceMaterial approached Jory&Co to refresh their brand and design a modern website capable of showcasing their impactful investigations. They needed a visual identity that would encapsulate their ethos of ‘Revealing the Truth’ while presenting their work in an engaging and accessible way.

We developed a brand and website that reflect the gritty, layered nature of SourceMaterial’s work. The design combines:
