Amalga helps hospitals deliver better care by bringing clinical and operational data together in one connected system. Today, they support 30+ hospitals and more than 5,000 beds globally, giving frontline teams the information they need, when they need it. Their divestment from Orion Health in 2025 created the perfect moment to refresh the brand, reclaim the Amalga name and set a bold new direction for the company.

The Challenge

Amalga’s technology is powerful, shaped by real-world needs across Australasia and South East Asia but their old “Hospitals” branding didn’t reflect that innovation or the scale of their impact. It lacked distinction in a crowded health-tech market and didn’t communicate their biggest strength: the ability to break down data silos and support faster, safer care at the frontline. They needed a confident new brand built around connection and agility. A name that reflected the product’s legacy and future. A website that simplified a complex Hospital Information System. Clear messaging showing the direct impact on staff, patients and operations.

The Idea

No two hospitals are the same so Amalga gives them the flexibility to build the system they actually need. Whether modular or full-stack, everything works together to speed up care and reduce admin. The brand celebrates this adaptability and unity – strong, modern and focused on empowering people, not just replacing systems.

The Solution

We led the strategic renaming back to Amalga, restoring a name with deep roots in healthcare data innovation, while signalling a future driven by integration and speed. From there, we designed a bold identity around movement and connection, blending high-contrast typography with a confident, modern colour palette that stands apart in healthcare. We restructured the website from the ground up: clearer paths through complex information, product explainers that show how each module works together, and benefit-led messaging rooted in real outcomes – faster decisions, fewer delays, better care. A full set of launch assets and brand guidelines gave the Amalga team the tools to grow consistently across markets.
