It’s easy to get caught up in our day-to-day work so we thought we’d take a step back and let you know what’s been going on at Jory&Co over the last few months.
Our time has been jam-packed with creative projects for environmental and social impact organisations all over the world. We love what we do and we hope that comes across in our work.
Here are a few highlights from our summer (for our northern hemisphere team) and our winter (for our southern hemisphere team).
We’re officially a B Corp
Five years in the making and we finally have B Corp certification!
Our work has always been impact-led but the assessment pushed us to change some internal processes that will make us a better business, like setting up proper client surveys and formalising our Conscience Checker tool.
We scored 91.8 on the B Impact Assessment so we’re pretty pleased with that. And we’re really proud to now be able to hold ourselves to the same high standard we help our clients reach and to be part of a global movement that benefits people and the planet.

New additions to our trophy cabinet
We’re not in this to win awards but it’s always nice when our work gets noticed.
In May, Ben headed to New York for the Webbys ceremony, where he picked up the People’s Voice Award for the Blue Marine Foundation website in the Charitable and Non-Profit Websites and Mobile Sites category.
We were also Highly Commended for Marketing/Advertising Campaign of the Year in the UK Green Business Awards for our work with Cap Plastic Now, which exposes the influence of Big Oil on the plastics industry.
And, most recently, the Jory&Co team received eight finals nominations in the Designers Institute of New Zealand’s Best Awards.
Plastics campaign in the media
The Plastic Detox documentary on Netflix, and the supporting Unplastic Your Life impact campaign that we designed for the Oceanic Preservation Society (OPS), have been driving a global conversation around plastic pollution, fertility and human health.
Covered extensively in the media, including the New York Times, The Guardian and Vogue, and by celebrities and influencers, the campaign has seen rapid growth on social media (currently 40,000+ followers on Instagram).
With Ben and members of our design team based in New Zealand, we also got a feature in the New Zealand Herald.

A big push on climate-related projects
Climatetech is one of our specialisms so it’s been great partnering with Infinis in the UK and Vaulted Deep in the US over the last few months.
We evolved the Infinis brand, and designed and built its new website, to reflect the scale, ambition and maturity of the organisation and the role it plays in powering the UK’s clean energy future. For Vaulted Deep, an organic waste management provider, we created a powerful visual identity and website that aligns with its position as one of the most innovative companies in the US.
We also partnered with Eldon, an ocean risk advisory practice, and ClimateKind, which addresses the climate and mental health crises, and worked on a huge rebranding, UX and website project for WaterNow, a non-profit consultancy that advances climate-resilient water strategies across the US.
At the heart of all our recent work is one of our core values – creativity for a better world.

Behind the scenes
As we don’t all sit in the same office, we like to share our favourite moments and photos on Slack. And it turns out, we’re a pretty active group.
In recent months, Jory&Co team members have surfed and animal-watched in Australia, celebrated King’s Day in Amsterdam, built sandcastles and grown veggies in the UK, skied and geo-cached in New Zealand, festivaled and watched the solar eclipse in Barcelona, holidayed in Portugal, hiked and kayaked in Albania… and all got very excited about our World Cup sweepstake!
