Jory&Co Year in Review – 2024

2024 was another big year. We’ve grown as a team, partnered with more inspiring organisations, and delivered some of our most impactful work yet.

From long-standing partnerships with VCMI , Thrive LDN, and Perennial to new ventures with Blue Forest and Cyted Health, our commitment to creating positive environmental and social change remains at the heart of what we do. Winning two Webby Awards for our Energy Profits campaign was a particularly proud moment for us this year!

Our team now spans New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Spain, Ireland, and South Africa. While our 24/7 global model keeps everything running seamlessly, the chance to meet face to face is always special. From our London summit to an unforgettable hike in Abel Tasman National Park, these moments have reminded us how lucky we are to work alongside such talented, down-to-earth people who share a passion for making a difference.

Massive thanks to our clients, partners, and everyone who has supported us throughout the year. We’re looking forward to some well-earned rest over the next few weeks before diving back in to create more impact for people and the planet in 2025!

Here’s a snapshot of some of the incredible projects we’ve worked on this year. If you’d like to partner with us in the year ahead, give us a shout.

Cap Plastic Now – Big Plastic. Big Oil. Big Emissions.

How do you make plastic pollution part of the climate crisis conversation? To coincide with landmark Global Plastics Treaty negotiations, we created a hard-hitting campaign exposing the influence of the fossil fuel industry and calling for a cap on plastic production.

Blue Forest – Because landscape restoration needs to happen now

A non-profit conservation finance organisation, Blue Forest brings people, finance and science together to restore and protect our forests, watersheds, ecosystems and communities. Working with our friends at Jack & Grace, we refreshed the Blue Forest brand identity, website and other visual assets and designed the 2023 impact report.

We partnered with Cavex to create its new strategy, brand and website that combines scientific and technical data visualisations with beautiful video footage and emotive photography.

Plymouth Sound National Marine Park – Your Summer, Your Sound

Having already designed the brand identity and website for the UK’s first National Marine Park, we were invited to work on a campaign that encouraged local residents to make the most of Plymouth Sound over the summer. The verbal and visual language we developed could be seen on billboards, buses, outdoor screens around the city as well as online.

SEED – Making nature count in the global economy

We partnered with Crowther Lab and Nature Finance to create a website for the SEED Index, a comprehensive tool designed to measure the state of biodiversity for any terrestrial location on Earth. Moving away from the usual natural hues associated with biodiversity, we focused on detailed data visualisation, subtle motion and distinctive monochromes with a pop of yellow.

Cyted Health – Transforming access to digestive health

A spin-off from Cambridge University, Cyted has developed innovative tools to detect and diagnose upper gastrointestinal (GI) diseases and cancers earlier and faster. Following rapid expansion, Cyted invited us to refresh its brand identity and create a new website and suite of comms assets, counterbalancing technology, data and diagnostics with a warm, modern and sophisticated visual language.

Verity Nature – Reimagining agriculture and nature-based solutions

Verity is on a mission to empower communities to restore nature and act on climate change. Teaming up with Jack & Grace, we developed the brand strategy, positioning, messaging and visual identity – successfully relaunching Blue Carbon S2C as Verity Nature. Reports, white papers and guides

As well as branding and websites, we’ve delivered lots of other assets for our clients, including impact reports for WHEB, Pollen Street, Scottish Equity Partners and Variant, a white paper by EcoSecurities about decarbonisation in the aviation sector, and a report by Thrive LDN and the Mayor of London that celebrates eight years of mental health achievements.

We’ve also produced our own Jory&Co guide to creating powerful infographics and we’ll be launching a guide to branding in the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) very soon – keep an eye on LinkedIn for this!
